Lunch Buffet at Agra - Owner went Broke and When we Ate

Another story from one of the best and fun loving trips. I would be having another blog to detail the trip but this one is about the owner of the restaurant (don't remember the name now)..

Few years back, we, the famous HCUites had been on a trip to Agra while traveling back during summer break from university. Think about 8 young (and hungry) guns coming on summer break , having train journey and the trip to Agra. Once again to check out the LOVE Sharjahan displayed of his wife 'Mumtaz'.

Alright, while having seen Taj, we were all hungry and was thinking where to go and eat and one of us saw a board, "Unlimited Food in 45/-". Well, with the blink of eye, all of us said "Dude, this guy will not sell lunch buffet any longer".

We went in and confirmed about the price and "unlimited" clause. The owner was more than happy to see 8 people coming for lunch and welcomed whole heartedly. We sat and began the feast starting with best curries of paneer. It was sitting lunch buffet where waiters were serving.

The naan/roti kept coming and we kept eating. The owner was still smiling and welcoming to see us eating. We still kept eating and asking for more and more. The smiling face of owner was turning into grin on every new order after we had 5-6 rounds of curries and naan.

The guys comes and says "Sir Naan or Paneer Khatm ho gaya". and we said "No problem please server us daal and rice". We still could not stop and ate daal and rice till owner finally cries and says "Sir sab khatam ho gaya". Well , we were also "Almost" full and gave the guys his bucks and came out. I am sure the guy would have stopped selling unlimited food after the incident.

We were all college goings, hadn't had that kinda food for a long time, hungry and tired by the journey and paid him full with tip. God bless him with his business :)))

Here is one of mystery pic of the trip :) - Enjoy

Escape when "Ghee" melted at Bangalore Airport

Aright, this is what happens when saasu maa (mother-in law) wants you eat lot of ghee (butter) and milk. The love flows through ghee into you.

We just got married and we were flying back to bangalore(this was my wife's first flight too). I was not too sure of "ghee love" from sasu maa and never paid attention of what being packed in of my luggage bags. It was all happy/sad departure from Delhi. Happy for me coming back to work and in bangalore, sad for my in-laws, the regular "Babul Ki Duwayen" songs..

The flight was on right time, we were havng fun , gossips together during flight. There were love talks, went thru honeymoon details etc etc and finally we landed at the airport in bangalore.

The luggage belt was announced and we were wainting to collect the baggage (as usual procedure at the ariports). After a few minutes we saw few bags coming on the belt.. little sticky.. wet.. and hear some one shouting from other side "Who the hell is carrying ghee in the plane"..

and it was like 'Oh my God' in my mind, this is the love from saasu maa.. and then there comes our bag... fully soaked in ghee and expression changed...

It was time to either escape or be cought and hear from people, the smart mind works and said "Ohh no who is carrying this ghee man, it spoiled all my bags". We pulled up the bad quickly on the trolly and ran. never looked back towards the belt.

I am sure our co-passengers , when looks at the bag , still says few words of "love" to the ones who carried ghee in that flight and thats us.

Hope, none of the people from that flight reads this blog :))).

Gathering All Shayari and Putting Together

Ye Khat Haseen Khatao ki Dastann dohrayega jab jab
Vo Jamana yaad ayega , Vo fasana yaad ayega
Yaad ayega vo sab kuch jise humne jiya kise tumne jiya tab tab

Mein tha awara hawan ka aisa jhonka
Gujarata tha har raha se madmast
tere ishq ki hadd se gujra to
hoon fasa kashmakash mein har waqt

tere julfo mein ulajhat hui shaam
kuch kahati hai dheere se
tere labo lipta har jaam
mahakaata hai dheere se
barasta hua sawan is fija mein
udti tere badan ki khushboo is is hava mein
tarsati mujhe pane ko tujhe dheere se

Dil e khwaish ki tere kareeb se gujre hum yoon
na tum hosh mein rahe na hum hosh mei
bhoole rahe ek dhooje ko hum yoon

Jindagi Neeras hoti hai ek dost ke bagair
aekel gam sahati hai ek humsafar ke bagain
dost vo jo mahake de sara aaangan
dost vo jo chahaka de sara alaam
gar tum sath do to kat jaye jindagi ka sair

Talash mein phirta hoon dar badar ek dost pane
bhatakata apne gun khushi kisi ko batane ko
milega vo muhe mera dost mera saath
jindagi ke kuch lamhe saath bitaane ko

Mana hamari tumhari ek nahin hai manzil
na hi tumhe pana chahata hai ye dil
bus inta ehsaan karo is awara par
tumhari mehphil mein hum ho jaye shamil

Tum kaho to gujar jayoon har kayamat se tumhare vaaste,
tum kaho to sah jayoon har shamat ko bhi tumhare vaaste,
ye dil hai is dil ki had mat pooch mere yaar,
tum kaho to mar bhi jayoon tumhare vaaste..

Udaan mein hai Parinda Manjil ki Talaash mein,
Gar Naseeb mein Sahil to Toofaan kya karenge..

Why Blogging, Dont I have better things to do?

Its been ages now since I have seen blogging business on the profiles, on the internet. I wonder why do people blog, aren't there better things to do in life than sitting on net and typing out few words of experience/wisdom (thats what some people name it).

Today, when I am sitting during office hours and trying to find out why should I also end up writing a blog. I wish to first think aloud and capture few pros and cons of putting my craps online in the form of a blog.

Every body understands and knows about being "Individual". All of us do have right to express and nowadays since we have access to this vast source of information called "Internet", it does not seem to be bad idea to express. We express individualistic thoughts , views , ideas, experiences and philosophy here. People visit, read and express their own comments. Its is indeed informative and de-stressing for lots of people.

Though at times it is opening up your self to the world, it gives one an opportunity to get better on writing skills. What one writes is totally individualistic and how better one can put the stuff without hurting anybody else's feelings and without evoking aggressive emotions.

Aaj, looks like I am finally getting into this business of writing blogs. I have written so much earlier which lies on papers and I even don't know where are those stuff lying? But with this storage, we being techie and on the net more than we are with our girlfrnds/wives, It makes lot of sense to us (to me) to get into this world too.

Imagination is more important than knowledge. For while knowledge defines all we currently know and understand, imagination points to all we might yet discover and create. - Albert Einstein.
